   In February of 2010, Stan McKinney was one of eight professors from Campbellsville University to attend a conference on general education in Seattle, Wash.
    There was little time for photography and McKinney brought along a simple camera, a Nikon Coolpix L14 instead of his larger and much heavier Nikon D300. Nevertheless, he still captured some of the sites of the city.
   At left is an icon for the city, the Space Needle.Built for the 1962 Seattle World's Fair, it is 605 feet tall.
   For $17, you can ride an elevator to the top and view the area from an observation deck.
