2007 Mustang GT
Stan McKinney purchased his 2007 Mustang GT in June 2007 from Don Franklin Ford in Columbia, Ky. He traded in a 2005 Mustang for it.
The 2007 Mustang GT is torch red with the optional red interior. A plaque on the dash was hand signed by Carroll Shelby.
The car has been displayed at several major car shows. In April of 2009 McKinney drove it to Las Vegas, Nev. where he picked up his wife, Joan, at the airport. They joined a Mustangs Across America Caravan for a drive to the Mustang Club of America's 45th Anniversary Celebration in Birmingham, Ala. More than 640 Mustangs registered for the drive which was on Route 66 as much as possible.
